1.Acquisition and use of personal information
The Company will acquire personal information through lawful and fair means and use it only to the extent necessary for the performance of its duties within the scope of the purpose of use indicated at the time of acquisition.
2.Compliance with laws and regulations
With respect to the handling of personal information, the Company will comply with laws and regulations and other rules applicable to the protection of such personal information.
3.Implementation of safety measures
The Company will maintain the accuracy of personal information, take security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, or leakage, dissipation, loss, or falsification of personal information, and make every effort to ensure the security of the management of personal information.
4.Respect for the rights regarding personal information
If the Company is requested to disclose, correct, delete, or discontinue the use of the personal information it has acquired, it will respect the rights related to the personal information and respond to the request promptly. If the Company receives a complaint from the person whose personal information was collected, it will deal with the complaint sincerely.
5.Establishment and implementation of regulations for the protection of personal information
The Company has established regulations for the protection of personal information that comply with laws and regulations and other standards concerning the protection of personal information, and has all employees comply with these regulations. Handling of Personal Information
1.Appropriate protection and management of personal information
Daidoh Limited and our Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") have appointed a group personal information management supervisor (Tsukasa Nabewari, President and Representative Director) as a person responsible for the protection and management of personal information. Also, a person responsible for the management of personal information has been assigned to each Group company and division. The Company appropriately and safely manages personal information acquired by each Group company and division and takes protective measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information from outside the Company and unauthorized use, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information.
2.Purpose of use of personal information
The Company will publicly announce the purpose of use of personal information as follows and will not use personal information for any purpose other than that which has been agreed upon.
(1) Purpose of use of personal information about customers
- To propose or provide products or services;
- To provide information on products, services, and events as well as promotional materials;
- For research and analysis to develop better products and services;
- To distribute various SNS such as e-mail magazines;
- To perform services related to the shipping of products and processing of orders;
- To carry out procedures related to after-sales care (including repair) and collection of products; and
- For other communications necessary for the above operations.
(2) Purpose of use of personal information about business partners
- To ensure communication with business partners;
- For the business contract; and
- For payment and invoicing.
(3) Purpose of use of personal information about the Company's employees
- For labor management at work (attendance management, welfare, payroll calculation and payment, health management, etc.);
- For implementation of employee education and employee training;
- To respond to inquiries regarding business communications, emergency communications in the event of a disaster, notifications, information, and information changes, etc. regarding various welfare services and training, etc.;
- To submit various legal notifications to the Social Insurance Office and Hello Work (Job Center); and
- For cases in which disclosure is authorized by laws and regulations for legitimate reasons.
(4) Purpose of use of personal information on applicants for employment
- To provide and receive various information related to recruitment activities of the Company; and
- For consideration of recruitment and communication of acceptance/rejection.
(5) Purpose of use of personal information about shareholders
- To exercise rights and perform obligations under the Companies Act;
- To provide various benefits to shareholders from the Company;
- To implement various measures in the relationship between shareholders and the Company to facilitate the relationship between the two parties;
- For shareholder management such as preparation of shareholder data in accordance with prescribed standards under various laws and regulations; and
- To conduct events, questionnaires, and other projects held by the Company.
In using the above (5), a part of the operations is entrusted to Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, the administrator of the shareholder registry. Inquiries and requests for changes regarding personal information of shareholders are accepted at the following contact point of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank.

3.Shared use of personal information
The personal information obtained by the Company may be shared by the following Group companies only for the purposes listed in 2. above.

4.Provision of personal information to third parties
We will not provide the personal information acquired by us to any third party without the prior consent of the person concerned, except in the following cases:
(1) If the provision of personal information is required by laws and regulations;
(2) Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual, and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned;
(3) Cases in which the provision of personal information is especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned; or
(4) Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for cooperating with a state organ, a local government, or an individual or a business operator entrusted by such organization in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations and in which obtaining the consent of the person concerned is likely to impede the execution of such affairs.
5.Personal information of minors, etc. under 15 years of age
If the person concerned is under the age of 15 and wishes to provide personal information to the Company, such person must obtain the consent of the parent or the legal representative.
6.Outsourcing of handling of personal information
If the Company entrusts the handling of personal information to an outside entity, it will execute a Confidentiality Agreement regarding Handling of Personal Information with the outsourcing contractor after carefully selecting the outsourcing contractor on the condition that a management system that enables the appropriate protection of personal information is established and implemented. In addition, the Company will appropriately supervise the outsourcing contractor with respect to the protection of personal information by the outsourcing contractor.
7.Disclosure, correction, deletion, etc. of personal information
If a person concerned requests disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use or erasing, or suspension of provision to a third party of information registered by the Company, we will respond to the request in good faith within a reasonable period of time in accordance with the procedures, etc. specified by laws and regulations. Please note that we will ask the person concerned to identify himself/herself by appropriate means to confirm the identity of the claimant.
