- After World War II, the Company reorganized under the Corporate Restructuring and Improvement Act. Subsequently, Daido Woosted Mills, Ltd. was officially established on October 17, 1949. The Company was originally formed in 1879, when Ine Kurihara began a weaving business.

There are a total of nine consolidated subsidiaries, one in Japan and eight overseas.
The subsidiary in Japan is involved in the clothing and real-estate leasing industries. Of the eight subsidiaries overseas, seven are involved in the clothing industry, while one is engaged in supervision and management. Six of the eight overseas companies are local subsidiaries in China and two are local subsidiaries in Italy.
There is also one affiliated company in Japan accounted for by the equity method that is involved in the clothing industry.
