Our set of corporate conduct rules at DAIDOH LIMITED are grounded in a law-abiding sprit and corporate ethics. These have been established with the aim of furthering awareness of the company's social and corporate responsibility in every one of the Group's directors, employees, and all other contracted personnel (referred to below as "We"). These rules are also intended to foster compliance with related regulations and the company's own regulations in the conduct of everyday business and ensure the company's actions follow social ethics.
The basis of our corporate activities
We believe the basis of our corporate activities to be our principles of "Customer First" and "Quality Oriented." This philosophy is the basis for our conducting the following activities.
Contributing to society
・ We shall look to be of use to our customers through their clothing lifestyle and contribute to society by providing products and services that our customers recognize as being of value.
・ As a committed corporate citizen we shall undertake activities with a good social conscience based on our strong ethical sense and moral values.
Compliance with laws and regulations
・ In addition to fully complying with all applicable laws and regulations, we shall perform activities and put into practice ideas that are compatible with social ethics.
・ We shall perform corporate activities that fully respect basic human rights. We shall not permit any acts that infringe upon human rights, including discriminatory speech or conduct such as that relating to a person’s ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, faith, sexual orientation, or mental or physical disability, as well as any act of harassment (including physical or sexual harassment, psychological intimidation, or harassment of expectant mothers).
・ We shall refrain from any actions that are contrary to the company's legitimate interests or that may damage the company's credit and reputation.
・ If we violate our corporate activity standards, laws, or internal regulations, we are subject to the appropriate penalties.
Creating an environment for self-fulfillment
・ We shall use our full potential in raising productivity by allowing each employee to perform duties that are appropriate to their abilities, conducting a fair evaluation of these results, and ensuring equal treatment of all employees.
・ We shall create a workplace that provides a safe and comfortable working environment, that allows every employee to feel a sense of self-fulfillment, and in which they can fully exert their potential through their work.
Relationship with shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders
・ We shall disclose reliable and useful corporate information to our shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders as appropriate. We shall refrain from any concealment or false reporting concerning our financial reporting.
・ We shall not permit any form of insider trading that utilizes information concerning our company, our subsidiary companies, or clients obtained in the course of our business.
Code of Practice
1.Relationship with customers
(1)We shall always think of the customer in prioritizing the issues of quality and safety in our products and services.
(2)We shall take every possible measure to prevent any form of accident or problems that may affect the safety or quality of our products and services. In the event of any such event, we shall respond promptly and sincerely.
(3)We shall not disclose any statements or information that may mislead the customer concerning the quality, performance, or specifications of our products or services.
(4)We shall handle all personal information obtained in the course of our work with the greatest of care. We shall only use such information for purposes consented to by the customer and shall not disclose this information to any third party.
2.Relationship with the community
(1)We shall strive to reduce our environmental footprint and comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. This shall apply in every area of our business operations, from procuring materials to the manufacture, distribution, use, recycling, and disposal of our products as we look to contribute to creating a sustainable society and contribute to preserving the global environment.
(2)We shall conduct business fairly and with a high degree of transparency towards creating strong relationships of trust with the community. By performing proper accounting and prioritizing the accuracy and credibility of our financial and tax accounting, we shall disclose as appropriate our operating performance and business planning primarily through our financial disclosures.
(3)As a member of society we shall look to cooperate and work closely with the local community wherever possible. We shall also fully respect and comply with local laws and regulations in our overseas operations in conducting business that respects different cultures and customs.
(4)We shall adhere closely to our corporate principles and adopt a resolute stance towards any anti-social forces or group that may pose a threat to the good order and safety of society and shall reject any form of relationship with any such organizations.
3.Relationship with clients
(1)In addition to following all applicable laws and regulations, we shall comply with all social rules in performing business transactions that are sincere and fair.
(2)We shall respect the transaction practices of our partners freely and fairly, and comply with all contracts and agreements in establishing a successful relationship of trust.
(3)We shall perform proper information management that prevents any release of information due to the inadequate management of information obtained from our clients.
4.Administration of management resources
(1)We shall administer our management resources appropriately in compliance with all laws and regulations, including our internal company regulations, in performing efficient operation of the company.
(2)We shall strive to expand our management resources and respond promptly and appropriately to any incidences of risk that may rise or in the event of the possibility of such risk.
